Composing For Ensembles Recitals - Day 1

Join us to support new music and celebrate the achievements of our first-year composers!

On 12 and 13 November 2025, the first-year composers will present a two-day showcase of their original compositions. Featuring a wide range of styles and approaches, audiences will have the opportunity to experience new music created by an eclectic and dynamic group of emerging young composers. Audiences are welcome to come and go as needed. Please see below for specific recital times: 

10am: Daniel McKay, "Untitled". For tape and visual media.

10.30am: Fiona Medway, "Evangeline". For voices, instruments, and other sounds. 

11am: Isaac Pamment, "Far Away". For Keys, synthesiser (strings), and voice.

11.30am: Clément-Emmanuel Saffre, "Violin Sonata III. Funeral March". For violin and piano.

12pm: Zoe Ragless, "The Riverside". For piano, clarinet, and flute. 

12.30pm: Joshua Cougar, "Recipient". For live keyboard and pre-recorded backing track. 

1.30pm: Tom Martin, "Gwen". For guitar and voice.
